Admissions

Archibald welcomes the opportunity to show prospective parents around school, allowing you and your child a glimpse into life in our Early Years Unit and the school.

Parents of children due to start school or Nursery in September 2019 are always welcome to contact us to arrange a visit in either the Autumn term for a Reception place or in the Spring term, after Christmas, for a Nursery place. Please see the Prospective Parents page for further information.

School deals with admissions for Nursery whilst Newcastle Local Authority is required by law to coordinate the admission process for all school reception places of children living in Newcastle. Click here to access Newcastle Local Authority information regarding admission into Reception Classes.

Parents who wish to make an in-year application for a Newcastle school must apply using Newcastle City Council’s ‘In Year application form’ and not by applying directly to schools. For In Year Transfer information please click here. Please contact the school to arrange a visit.
