Specific Results for children in receipt of Pupil Premium Funding July 2018:

  • Every child in the Early Years unit identified as receiving the pupil premium funding made at least good progress from their individual starting points, 67% made better than expected progress in reading, and 56% made better than expected progress in writing and number. 6 out of 9 children (67%) achieved a Good Level of Development.
  • 98% of all the pupils from years 1 – 4 in receipt of the pupil premium funding made at least expected progress in reading, writing and maths. In terms of attainment 89% of all the pupils from years 1-4 reached the expected level of attainment in reading, 84% writing and 84% doing so in maths.
  • 86% (6/7) of the children in recruit of Pupil Premium funding made the expected progress in year 1 for reading, writing and maths. 43% of children made better than expected progress in reading and writing with 14% doing so in maths. 86% of the group of 7 children reached or exceeded the end of year age expected levels in reading, 71% in writing and 86% in mathematics.
  • In Year 2, 100% of the 12 children receiving the funding made the expected progress over the year in reading, writing and maths. 17%, 17% and 8% made better than expected progress in reading, writing and maths respectively. 83% of the Year 2 cohort of children eligible for pupil premium funding were working at the end of year expected level in reading, writing and maths. 8% of the 12 children were working above the end of year expected level of attainment in reading.
  • With the expected progress being 3 steps, 100% made this in reading, writing and mathematics in Year 3 with 33% making better than expected progress in reading and writing, and 17% in maths. In Year 3, 92% of the 12 children eligible for the funding met the end of year expected level of attainment in reading, 83% in writing with 75% doing so in maths. On average 23% were working above the end of year expected levels.
  • 100% of the 13 children receiving the funding in Year 4 made the expected 3 steps progress in reading, writing and maths. 23% made better than expected progress in reading and writing with 31% doing so in writing. 92% of the children were working at the end of year expected level in reading, writing and maths. 31% of children in reading, 23% in writing and 23% in maths were working at above the end of year expectations. 7 out of 13 children received on-going intervention to secure their expected attainment and progress.

Specific Results for children in receipt of Pupil Premium Funding July 2017:

  • 100% of the children in the Early Years unit identified as receiving the pupil premium funding made at least good progress from their individual starting points, 100% made better than expected progress in reading and maths, and 80% made better than expected progress in writing. 3 out of 5 children (60%) achieved a Good Level of Development.
  • 100% of all the pupils from years 1 – 4 in receipt of the pupil premium funding made at least expected progress in reading, 98% in writing and 95% in maths. In terms of attainment 91% of all the pupils from years 1-4 reached the expected level of attainment in reading, 89% writing with 80% doing so in maths.
  • 100% of the children in recruit of Pupil Premium funding made the expected progress in year 1 for reading and writing with 89% maths. 33% of children made better than expected progress in reading and 22% in writing. 88% of the group of 9 children reached or exceeded the end of year age expected levels in reading, 78% in writing and 67% in mathematics.
  • In Year 2, 100% of the 10 children receiving the funding made the expected progress over the year in reading, writing and maths. 50%, 30% and 20% made better than expected progress in reading, writing and math respectively. 80% of the Year 2 cohort of children eligible for pupil premium funding were working at the end of year expected level in reading with 70% in writing and 70% in mathematics. 20% of the 10 children were working above the end of year expected level of attainment in all three subjects.
  • With the expected progress being 3 steps, 100% made this in reading, writing and mathematics in Year 3 with 62% making better than expected progress. In Year 3, 92% of the 13 children eligible for the funding met the end of year expected level of attainment in reading and writing with 85% doing so in maths. On average 20% were working above the end of year expected levels.
  • 100% of the 13 children receiving the funding in Year 4 made the expected 3 steps progress in reading and maths; 92% made the expected progress in writing. 62% made better than expected progress in reading and maths with 15% doing so in writing. 100% of the children were working at the end of year expected level in reading with 92% doing so in writing and maths. 31% of children in reading, 15% in writing and 38% in maths were working at above the end of year expectations.
