What is the PTFA?
PTFA stands for Parents, Teachers and Friends Association. We are a registered charity (number 1099483). Any parent or carer is automatically a member and welcome to help in any way they can.
What does the PTFA do?
We organise events throughout the year such as discos and non uniform days for the children, Spring Fete and the Christmas Evening for all the family along with quiz nights and social evenings for adults. The aim is to have fun and socialise while raising money for the school.
How can I be involved?
The PTFA only exists with the support of parents and you can help in a number of ways. Anyone is welcome to attend meetings and have a say in what we do. Parents are also needed to help on stalls at discos, coffee afternoons etc. or to make posters, wrap tombola prizes, bake cakes, fold raffle tickets…there really is a job for everyone, no matter how much or little time you can spare!!
It’s a great way to meet other parents and become involved with your child’s school, and you never know you might even enjoy it!!!!
