Whitehouse Farm!

21/1/16

Before the Christmas holidays Early Years went on a very exciting trip to Whitehouse Farm!

We had great fun seeing and feeding lots of different animals, some children were even brave enough to have a HUGE tarantula on their head! Eeek!

Being very brave! How brave! Feeding the animals

The children enjoyed acting out the Nativity story in the big barn and some children were lucky enough to ride a real donkey!

We also enjoyed a very bumpy sleigh ride around the farm!

The most exciting bit came when we crept into Santa’s grotto and inside was Santa Claus FAST ASLEEP! We had to shout really loud to wake him up. Santa and his princess helper listened to all the lovely things we would like for Christmas and captured them all into a special book. They then gave us a special lolly and some magic hay to leave out on Christmas Eve for Santa’s reindeers. We even all got a special letter from Santa Claus when we arrived back at school, wow!

It was a magical day and we would like to thank all the parents and carers that came to help us!
