Supporting our local library

26/2/16

This week, Early Years and Key Stage 1 have been to visit Gosforth Library.  It was part of the build up to World Book week, but also to show support for our local library.  This is an essential service which the community risk losing if we don’t support it.

The children found out how easy it was to borrow books.  They were very excited that they could have their own card for free and that they could borrow up to 10 books.  The children in Year 2 loved learning about the Dewey decimal system!

A number of children from each class were members of the library, but we would encourage all children to join!
