year 3 boys
On Monday 4th July, 8 people from year 3 and 4 went on a cross-country tournament. The run took part at the field behind Gosforth Academy and we ran round the field twice. Before the run started we went to the school’s yard and we did a warm up. After the warm up we got back to our school places and the year 4 boys went to the start line ready for their run. When the lady told the boys to go, they went whizzing off. After the race they had drinks and a chocolate biscuits. Then when all of the year 4 boys passed the finish line the year 4 girls started their race. Then the year 3 boys and finally the year 3 girls. After all the races 4 people from each school competed in a fun relay race. After the relay the organisers gave out medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each race.
