Dove Marine Laboratory are excited to announce the 2017 dates for our annual marine environmental Splash Down summer school. Splash Down has a very clear focus of the marine environment, and it is lead by a marine biologist. In this week-long summer school, students will investigate the animals and plants that inhabit our oceans. Students will develop a better understanding of their influence on the ocean and the oceans influence on them, for instance – children will realise that there is only one ocean, the ocean is hugely unexplored, the ocean influences our climate, humans and the ocean are intrinsically connected.
