Archibald First School will observe a minute’s silence

6/6/17

Dear Parents and Carers

In line with the decision announced yesterday by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, the children in Years 1 to 4 will be observing a minute’s silence in school today (Tuesday 6th June) at 11.00am.

We will hold a short period of reflection in a sensitive and calm manner; it is an emotive subject and sadly it will be the second time we have held a minute’s silence in the last few weeks.  I feel it is very important that we take part in this national mark of respect.

Yours sincerely

Mrs J Bayes (Headteacher)
